This page explains how you may request deletion of your personal data and the scope of data we can or cannot delete in accordance with applicable law.
1. Your Rights
You may request deletion of personal data we hold about you where we have no lawful basis to retain it. Certain data may need to be retained to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or for legitimate business interests.
2. What We Can Delete
- Profile data (name, email, phone) on request, subject to verification.
- Non-essential account preferences and saved searches.
- Content you uploaded (photos, descriptions) where not required to be retained for legal reasons.
3. What We May Retain
- Data necessary for preventing fraud, ensuring platform security and safety.
- Transaction records and billing information required by tax or accounting laws.
- Data required to comply with legal obligations, court orders, or regulatory requests.
4. How to Request Deletion
To request deletion, please email [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- Your full name and account identifier (email or user ID).
- Specific data or data categories you wish to delete.
- Proof of identity (scanned ID) where required for verification.
We will acknowledge receipt and inform you of any lawful reasons we may be unable to fully comply. Where appropriate, anonymisation may be offered as an alternative to deletion.
5. Timeframes
We will acknowledge your request within a reasonable time and complete deletion or provide a lawful refusal with reasons. Timeframes depend on verification needs and complexity of the request.
