Community Guidelines
Version 1.0 | Last Updated: June 24, 2026
Our community works best when everyone treats each other with respect and follows simple rules. These Guidelines explain expected behaviour across listings, tenancy interactions, mess management, chats, neighbourhood interactions and community features.
1. Be Honest and Accurate
When creating listings or profiles, provide truthful information and accurate photos. Misrepresentation of property condition, location, availability, price, or identity harms the community and may lead to removal or suspension.
2. Property & Tenancy Conduct
- Respect agreed check-in/check-out and payment terms.
- Do not post or list properties you do not own or have the right to list.
- Comply with local laws, safety standards and building regulations.
- Resolve deposit, damage and dispute matters privately or via the platform’s dispute process.
3. Mess, Mess Owners and Members
- Mess owners must ensure food safety, hygiene and accurate meal plans.
- Members must pay dues on time and follow shared kitchen rules.
- Any disputes regarding billing, quality or safety should be reported via the Help Center reports.
4. Chats, Messaging and Privacy
- Treat other users respectfully; abusive, harassing, or threatening messages are prohibited.
- Do not share private information without consent (phone numbers, ID documents, financial details).
- Report harassing or unsafe behaviour using the report tools.
5. Neighbourhood and Community Etiquette
- Respect noise regulations and shared facilities.
- Be considerate with deliveries, visitors and common-area use.
- Report illegal activity to local authorities and platform support where relevant.
6. Enforcement
Violations of these Guidelines may result in content removal, account restrictions, suspension, or permanent bans depending on severity. We may also share information with law enforcement when required by law.
7. Reporting
Use the Help Center report forms to report listings, users, messes, chat messages or neighbourhood incidents. Provide evidence where possible.
